In what was almost a foregone conclusion Davie finishes like Ernie Els as a wire to wire winner of the BMW International Open. Mary_S won the race for second just pipping LadyPutt and SetupDetermines. RedRage and BlueCoverman had respectable performances especially as Blue only had three picks left. Bonus points saved some of 1GrumpyGolfer's blushes.
65 was again the round of the day and four pros shot that mark. Wen-yi Huang, Justin Walters, Robert Rock, and Shane Lowry shared that score. Of all of these Shane Lowry was picked by 1GrumpyGolfer. Marc Warren had the worse round last place double as he shot 75. Kristoffer Broberg shared last place with Warren.
The next event will see a return to the ladies tour and their next major; the Women's US Open.

Bonus points were awarded freely for round 3 as five GolfChatUK Fantasy Leaguers each had two picks make the low round scores and four of them had one of the low round scorers in Sergio Garcia. Unfortunately two Fantasy Leaguers were left standing by the wayside. As a result Davie extended his lead by 10 points and it almost looks like a race for second now.
65 was the low round for the second day running. Thomas Bjorn had one and Garcia the other. Even the worse round was a lot better than earlier rounds. Jorge Campillo and Kristoffer Broberg had 77s.

Davie has made a break for it; he had all six of his picks make it through to the weekend and those bonus points have given him a clear lead over LadyPutt and RedRage. They could only manage five picks and that number was matched by Mary_S and 1GrumpyGolfer. SetupDetermines had four picks and lucky BlueCoverman came unstuck and only had three picks go through.
Low scoring continued and 65s were the round of the day. These good rounds were put together by Jaco Van Zyl, Danny Willett, and Morten Orum Madsen. Constantin Schwierz had the worse round for the second day running but he did better round 1 by one shot; he had 84 today. No one picked any of these players so bonus points were not awarded in round 2.

There was some seriously low scoring out there and the cummulative scores of all GolfChatUK Fantasy Leaguers are double digits under par. Ernie Els had the round of the day with a 63. Four other pros had 64s and three were picked by GolfChatUK Fantasy Leaguers. Davie, LadyPutt, and RedRage all share the lead after round 1. No one picked Constantin Schwierz who had an 85.
With such low scoring anyone around -2 will probably miss the cut.

It's official, I effing hate what Forumotion have done. It normally takes about an hour to collate all the relevant information and details together for the initial posting. But this time I spent longer on, what I thought was, careful formatting of the original text when I was pasted it in it now looks shite.
I apologise for the crappy look but despair of their "upgrade"

Does the button on the far right of the editor toolbar help? It's called "switch editor mode" .. maybe it puts it back to the old mode?
Re: GolfChatUK Fantasy League 2012 –Spring/Summer Session - Event #10
I took a quick look using that editor thing last night and it looked like a huge mess. Take a look, let me know why you think?

Well I don't know how you do the fantasy stuff - cut and paste from Word probably? I know people have had trouble with the quote feature, but if you use that right hand tool button the quote works properly.
Haven't tried any for the formatting stuff but a straight "quote" works fine. How do you do the fantasy pages?
Re: GolfChatUK Fantasy League 2012 –Spring/Summer Session - Event #10
I was thinking along the lines of you going to edit the original post and then clicking on that editor button. Looked a bit weird and wonderful to me.
I normally have it in Word with the formatting of colours and sizes all built in and then just paste it in.
The first time I used the new system it looked like it added additional lines or space between sections. This was in addition to what I normally do to space stuff out. I tried taking all of my spacer lines out but it had no effect. Now some of the font sizes seem a little funky to me too. Want me to email you my Word doc to play around with it?

Thanks Davie, might have to wait until tomorrow evening in the UK as I don't seem to have an Internet connection for my laptop at the moment. Think I left my dongle thingamajig in the UK and I left the laptop at work tonight.

Word has a lot of hidden EOL (End of Line) characters that screws up when copying & pasting to different platforms.
Try copying your Word doc, into Notepad & go from there.
Might give you a better format.

Copied into Notepad, then removed all the double blank lines.
Then pasted back into the forum.

Me too!
I put some of the double blanks back in to get the spacing back properly. I did try to credit your assistance on the reason for editing but it left that piece out.
I'm going to delete your copy and paste job, if you don't mind, don't want someone to think that there's two field postings....

There was some seriously low scoring out there and the cummulative scores of all GolfChatUK Fantasy Leaguers are
double digits under par. Ernie Els had the round of the day with a 63. Four other pros had 64s and three were
picked by GolfChatUK Fantasy Leaguers. Davie, LadyPutt, and RedRage all share the lead after round 1. No one
picked Constantin Schwierz who had an 85.
With such low scoring anyone around -2 will probably miss the cut.

Of all the Fantasy League picks I think you would have got long odds on Tom Lewis missing the cut; what a difference to yesterday. He's now even par for the tournament playing the 18th, unless something spectacular happens I think he's got the weekend off.

Tom's caddy and Andy Sullivan's caddy must have been off spending their earnings already. Both players shot 78 after being -7 and -6 respectively.

Davie has made a break for it; he had all six of his picks make it through to the weekend and those bonus points
have given him a clear lead over LadyPutt and RedRage. They could only manage five picks and that number was

Low scoring continued and 65s were the round of the day. These good rounds were put together by Jaco Van Zyl,
Danny Willett, and Morten Orum Madsen. Constantin Schwierz had the worse round for the second day running but he

It's always difficult for us Major winners to follow up such an outstanding performance with an equally good display the next week. The celebrations, the constant demands for attention from the press and media, the television interviews and the late nights...they all take their toll I'm afraid. And the women...don't even mention the women

Bonus points were awarded freely for round 3 as five GolfChatUK Fantasy Leaguers each had two picks make the low
round scores and four of them had one of the low round scorers in Sergio Garcia. Unfortunately two Fantasy
Leaguers were left standing by the wayside. As a result Davie extended his lead by 10 points and it almost looks
like a race for second now.
65 was the low round for the second day running. Thomas Bjorn had one and Garcia the other. Even the worse round
was a lot better than earlier rounds. Jorge Campillo and Kristoffer Broberg had 77s.

Might be a bit delayed in posting the Women's Open event as there are three Players, 84, 91, and 136, to be confirmed. Rest assured the rankings will be true, it is the 17th right?

Maybe? There's a lot of unranked players in the field.
Players 84 and 91 have been confirmed as Amy Meier and Christel Boeljon. Player 136 still not confirmed as at 2pm ET on USGA website.
