Casey to miss World Matchplay
As we predicted, its been announced that Paul will miss next weeks matchplay event, but may be back at Doral the week after. Will he have time to do some damage to ensure he makes the RC team?

Sorry to see Casey have to pull out - I'm one of the minority that actually likes him! Hope that he is able to come back with a bang, and secure a place in the RC team.
Every cloud though - George Coatzee has now withdrawn from Sunshine Tour event next week so that he can take Casey's place. Result is that my son moves one place further up the reserve list for ST event!

I haven't liked him since his shank at Carnoustie hit my pregnant daughter.

Can't see that he will be too bothered if he misses the Ryder Cup Doc...especially if it clashes with a snowboarding week

Oooh - not feeling the Casey love guys!
Doon - that must have been a bit of a shock for your daughter, hopefully no serious injury as a result.

Blue i know what you mean, because if I earned my living playing golf, you wouldn't see me jeopordising it by doing extreme sports in my spare time.
I love Casey though and think he's a top top player and can compete with anybody on his day. His problems have been too many injuries that have cost him a lot of ranking points this last 3-years. I know he was gutted at not making the last RC team, and I thought this was probably the only mistake that Monty made, as he would have been one of my picks. he was playing well at the time and in contention for a few events, whereas Monty did the right thing on paper and went with Pod, who was pretty poor that week.
