Volvo World Matchplay Championship

I know this doesn't exactly live up to the name with such a strange entry field, but what a stunning course they are using! I might just have to be looking to book a holiday to Bulgaria. The Thracian Cliffs course has to be one of the most spectacular in the world. If you've not watched any of the coverage on Sky, or seen photos on the internet, then have a look.

I haven't seen any live coverage yet LP but I have seen some photos of the course and it does indeed look spectacular!

Pretty average field for some a grandiose title but the scenery and course looks like it deserves better

I haven't managed to catch any of the coverage yet, but hopefully will get a look at the course over the weekend.

How was the field assembled? As LP said, an odd mix of players, given the title of the tournament.
