Casey
I was watching the French open, and was surprised to see Casey record back to back 80s his golf was awful compared to last year.(Rose had an almighty shank as well). Just asking does Casey have an injury???

Re: Casey
I think he is still rebuilding his game following a snowboarding accident a while ago. The +18 was rather shocking though!

Re: Casey
If Rory's not careful, he'll be going down the same route of a "has been" at a relatively (or in his case very) young age. Picture on his Facebook page today of him at come corporate "jolly" a Jumeira with Bruce Forsyth. I know they are his sponsors, but shouldn't he be playing or practicing somewhere?
Sad to see Casey in such a slump but we have to remember the same thing happened to Lee Westwood and look at him now (apart from today ).

Re: Casey
I guess that with an attractive and new girlfriend on his arm Mr Casey won't be that disappointed to have a weekend off...

Re: Casey
Blue I watched some of his golf today, would say 19 would be a better handicap for him

Re: Casey
Would say you would not get a good price on him missing the cut this weekend?.

Re: Casey
I suppose its his choice on how he spends his free time, but if I was lucky enough to paly golf for a living, I'm sure I wouldn't want to jeopordise it all because of my hobbies. Snowboarding/mountain biking injuries are destroying a world top 10 player. His choice and probably doesn't need the cash any more. What a waste

Re: Casey
Have to admit I'm surprised that Chris Wood does quite a lot of off road mountain biking, as he has a well dodgy back.
I guess that these guys feel they need to get away from their "day" job, the same as the rest of us. Agree with Doc though, not sure that I would risk it, were I lucky enough to be bestowed with their talent.

Re: Casey
He was only +2 today, and that was not a bad score, still dodgy if he will make the cut or not.

Hopefully it's the first sign that he's on the way back to regaining his form.

Re: Casey
Yes I hope so Mary, he only put one ball out of bounds to day, so without that poor shot, might have been level par for the day.

Re: Casey
Not a good day today for Paul. Is he the new Michael Campbell? Meaning he's just unable to get it round and scramble a score?
