Ladies Escort 'venice1' to LPGA Crown!

The battle for the LPGA Championship trophy was determined the old-fashioned way by the finish of the actual competitors on the field and venice1 came through by having his four selections who made the cut finish respectively: 2nd, 6th, 12th and 12th for a winning total of 435 points. 1GrumpyGolfer who had the virtual lead throughout the first three rounds fell to the #5 spot by having only one of his six selections finish in the Top 20. He was also surpassed in the end by Mary_S, Doc and raycastleunited, all of whom scored at least 165 points in the final round.

The lady who finished first in the actual tournament, Shanshan Feng, was selected by no one and thus the 180 points for that one fell by the wayside uncollected. She also had the low score for the round worth another 30 points but left untouched. Nobody chose the two tied for the worse round of the day with a +8: Meaghan Francella and Taylor Coutu. There was one lucky 30 point getter for choosing Grace Park, who finished in last place for those completing four rounds with a +17: oldparwin. A number of the Fantasy Leaguers got cheated out of some potential points when the #2 player in the world, Na Yeon Choi, was disqualified. Not an ideal way to end a major regardless of the circumstances.
