'Redrage' Strong-Arms 2nd Consecutive League Event!

Redrage is the new wonderkind in the 2012 GCUK Fantasy League as he strong-armed the BMW International Open event by hitting the century mark with the help of his selection: Paul McGinley who not only tied for 3rd in the tournament but also shot the low round of the final day. The 100 points were good enough for a 10 point margin over BlueCoverman who was the only other Fantasy Leaguer to select McGinley, the 45 year old who began his career 20 years ago and has never played fewer than 23 events each year for his entire career. Ironically, that marathon run may come to end as he now has only 8 entries in European Tour events this year.

This was Redrage's 2nd victory in a row and a sure signal that his U.S. Open Fantasy triumph the week before was no fluke and dispelling any conversation about a hangover from too much celebration while coming back over to this side of the pond. Or maybe that's the secret to his success. Nobody chose the tourney's winner: 24 year old Danny Willett who won his very first ET tournament by taking down Marcus Fraser on the fourth extra playoff hole after both were tied at the end of regulation play. Nobody selected Steven O'Hara who shot the worse score for Round 4 nor did anyone chose the last place finishers: Jordi Garcia and James Kingston. None of that really mattered for the 2nd consecutive week.

Well McGinley wasn't a bad shout...not too sure about any of my other picks though!
