Volvo Match Play Champion... 'raycastleunited'!

And we have a winner for GCUK Fantasy League second match play event of the year… drum roll please… raycastleunited!
En fuego might describe his fantasy game lately as nobody seems to have an answer to defeat him in stroke play and now in match play as well. He and boyhyde (beginning to sound like a broken record), who finished just 10 points behind in the final tally, were the only ones to have Nicolas Colsaerts high enough on their player rankings list to take advantage of the upset that happened on the actual course.

Overall, the Fantasy Leaguers performed well with nobody going under the 50% victory line and the winner taking an impressive 23-3-14 record to the bank. boyhyde and Davie also registered 20 victory matches during the week. Meisce, who was fronted as the Virtual Leaguer by having all of his selections posted as favorites set the standard at 19-3-17. Only hogie was the other besides the top three finishers who managed to tie him for fourth place. The victory was raycastleunited's third in the last four League events, a form worth bottling and storing as vintage fantasy.

3rd place - I'm happy with that but I wonder what it might have been without Colsaerts!

I had real money on Rose and Snedecker (both dispatched by Colsaerts on Saturday) and then higher fantasy rankings on Lawrie and GMac on Sunday. A definite "if only" week
