Playoff Victory Crowns 'raycastleunited' Lord of Madeira Island!

When you're hot you're hot and raycastleunited is hot as in two consecutive GCUK Fantasy League victories. Having won on the Iberian Peninsula the previous event, he literally jumped over to the Island of Madeira to grab that flag as well. Such success has not been seen in these parts since the days of Admiral Lord Nelson and the British Fleet.

In fact, this tourney ended in a playoff between raycastleunited and oldshanker as both ended regulation play with 90 total points each. The tie-breaking factor favored the winner as he grabbed 45 points in the final round, just enough to trump oldshanker's 35 points. As with most Weighted 1 events, this was a low-scoring rumble that ended with the typical scrapes and bruises. Nothing the Admiral hasn't weathered before and certainly a reminder to those still rowing to shore.
