Tiger to miss Ryder Cup
Probably no great surprise to anybody that Tiger has ruled himself out of the Ryder Cup next month, due to his back injury.
I know that he doesn't have a great record in the RC, and is not considered to be a team player, but he's still got an intimidating presence at tournaments, so I guess that's good news for the Europeans. Unless, of course, Tiger decides to come over as part of the support team for his compatriots!

Thank goodness - that'll put an end to all the endless "will he, won't he" speculation.

Might disagree with you there Mary.
US will now pick a decent golfer to play in their team, instead of one who was once mighty good.

Yes I agree with Setup - good for USA, not so good for us! At least the coverage won't be saturated with Tiger though - just Coco
