A fantastic seven straight birdie finish to the round for Kevin Streelman saw him storm through to take victory and there was Davie riding him all the way to another victory in the Fantasy League.  SetupDetermines had Sergio Garcia who finished second but he couldn't keep up with Davie.  BlueCoverman had the most picks score points but not enough quality overall.  1GrumpyGolfer had two picks in the points and in the end there was nothing to separate LadyPutt and RedRage.

Miguel Angel Carballo shot 63 for the lowest round and Ben Crane pipped Setup's Brice Garnett for the worse round of the day with a 79.  James Hahn finished at the bottom of the pile on +8.  No one picked any of these players.

Five picks from five different Fantasy Leaguers got into the Top 10 Low Round scores inclding the actual low round scorer.  Davie's pick of Kevin Streelman has put him into a tie with BlueCoverman at the top of the leaderboard.  Only LadyPutt didn't have a pick score points and she now shares 5th, or last place, with RedRage.
 
The worst scores from picks were 72s and the actual worse round was a 77 from Andrew Svodoba.

The cut line hovered and fluctuated and fell at -1. As a result we say goodbye to 13 other picks.  BlueCoverman, Davie, and SetupDetermines managed to get the most picks through with seven.  Both BlueCoverman and Davie earned two cut bonuses; Davie earned just one.  1GrumpyGolfer has six picks left and one cut bonus.  LadyPutt and RedRage have five and three picks respectively; neither earned a cut bonus.
 
Michael Putnam and Jamie Lovemark both had 63s to share low round of the day.  David Duval had a horror show with an 83 after being well placed after round 1.

Brendan Steele ditched the long putter for a short stick and made putts all over the place for a round of 62.  His score pipped Bud Cauley and Ryan Moore by one shot and that meant good news for 1GrumpyGolfer and BlueCoverman.  SetupDetermines fresh off of the disappointment of losing Louis Oosthuizen mid round was consoled by Chad Campbell's round of 64 which squeezed him into the Top 5 Low Round scores.  Bobby Gates had a round of 78 for the worst round of the day.  As no one picked him or any of the others that got to -6 or lower those not mentioned are yet to get off of the mark.
 
The cut line is already underpar and would probably move lower as good scores continue.

Typically after a major players take a rest but at this week's PGA Tour stop four of the top ten are playing.  Bubba Watson is the headliner and one of the former champions here.  Ken Duke is defending champion and Marc Leishman and Freddie Jacobsen round out the prior winners list between Duke and Watson.
 
We are back to our regular three Categories but you still need to pick three, plus reserve, from each one.  The additional cut bonus points are still on offer this time around.  If you get all of your picks through in any category you get a small bonus.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.
 
This is a full field with cut event, so cut points will be available; see above.

RULES
 
Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:
 
Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.
 
Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).
 
If there is a tie after all 6 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.
 
Order of Merit: The person with the most total points at the completion of the season will be declared the GolfChatUK Fantasy League Champion. If there is a tie for total points at the completion of the season, those involved will be declared Co-Champions.
 
Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be treated as nil scoring. If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.
 
Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply.  Example: Pick 2 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4 and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1 and 7, reserve 3 from Category B, players 1 and 2, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.
 
Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.
 
Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament. However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.
 
All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

Thinking about it, it wasn't lazy administration just me allowing Red time to make his own picks if he was so inclined. I mentioned last night that he had standing instructions for picks and that I would have to dig them out.

Ok I understand. Next time I give you numbers I have 3 hours (and 9 minutes) until after first tee-off time to make my own picks if so inclined. Gotcha  

No, I had to wait to see if he picked and then find his numbers from last time. Then I posted his picks by numbers. Okay, sounds like it was lazy administration but in my defence I went to the gym, got some breakfast before strolling into work about 9:30, and then ate said breakfast. Got to have your priorities straight here Blue

By my back of fag packet recalculations only two three picks scored points today; Chad Campbell, Bud Cauley, and Ryan Moore. Further Additional detailed analysis suggests that only Setup, Blue, and I scored points. LPRPitis is in effect.

How about Chad Campbell lying in 4th ? Does he not count ?

Five picks from five different Fantasy Leaguers got into the Top 10 Low Round scores inclding the actual low round scorer. Davie's pick of Kevin Streelman has put him into a tie with BlueCoverman at the top of the leaderboard. Only LadyPutt didn't have a pick score points and she now shares 5th, or last place, with RedRage.

The worst scores from picks were 72s and the actual worse round was a 77 from Andrew Svodoba.

Sorry I missed this one. Last two weeks have been hectic - Mum in hospital. She is back in the care home now, but I think all the stress finally caught up with me.

A fantastic seven straight birdie finish to the round for Kevin Streelman saw him storm through to take victory and there was Davie riding him all the way to another victory in the Fantasy League. SetupDetermines had Sergio Garcia who finished second but he couldn't keep up with Davie. BlueCoverman had the most picks score points but not enough quality overall. 1GrumpyGolfer had two picks in the points and in the end there was nothing to separate LadyPutt and RedRage.

Miguel Angel Carballo shot 63 for the lowest round and Ben Crane pipped Setup's Brice Garnett for the worse round of the day with a 79. James Hahn finished at the bottom of the pile on +8. No one picked any of these players.
