Paul McGinlay is either a cool cookie or about to upset a lot of golfers. Any player on the Euro tour who doesn't qualify for the last for tour events, will be highly unlikley to make the Ryder Cup squad. Could we see some of our top guys who play on the PGA missing out when they should have been shoe-in players for the team?

Young Charly Hull seems to have the world at her feet, and I enjoyed watching her smash the pink lady in the recent SC. It now seems the young girl has been given a pass onto the LPGA and will also go straight into stage 2 Q-School in October. I would imagine that her parents are having to relocate as she won't be allowed to go to the States alone ..... Will she? .....

David Howell has stated that he expects to make the Ryder Cup team ...... Another Howeller maybe? or is it likely?
