Criteria for Weighted Value: 1 = Regular, 2 = Elevated, 3 = Majors

This is preliminary as the LPGA schedule and Fall Series details are not available at this time. I have 47 events marked in at the moment. Let me know if you think I have any of the event weightings off the mark.

The Nelson Mandela Championship kicks off the 2013 Race to Dubai so that's the first event of our season.

Glad we've (and you!) got a break over Christmas and New Year. You deserve it

This is all good stuff grumps, but are you not risking burn out (and divorce) from such a crowded schedule?

My suggestion would be to remove some of the weaker comps and spread the events out to keep the interest up. Honestly I got a bit bored endlessly picking random names for tournaments I had no interest in. I would bin Mandela, Joburg Open, Tshwane Open, Hassan trophy, Tampa Bay. That leaves 12 events over 3 months. Less is more.

I appreciate the great job you are doing, and you are very welcome to pick your own schedule, but just thought I would give my view.

Ray, thanks for your thoughts. I get you, I have a hard enough time picking players anyway to then pick from unknowns is even harder.

There are PGA Tour events against three of the ET events you mention. I can send you the overall schedule if you would like to see it and make suggestions. I'm happy to have less events, it's less work for me but a concern about that is that this place would be even quieter without a FL event.

What we need is more boastful, big girls blouses on here, always having hissy fits...

Ray has a good point but I think if Grumps thinks he is up to it then I say "go for it". We don't want burn-out and I know everyone would agree with me when I say we appreciate everything he has done

The fact is that we are a small group, and it's down to the FL that we still get a few people visiting here - if there were to be breaks in the schedule, people would (with the best will in the world) forget to come back after a week or two break

There may be weak events in there but if Grumps is up to it then I say more power to him!

I agree with Davie. I actually rather like picking from the "lesser" events as they often throw up surprises.

If Grumps is happy to keep to a full schedule, then who am I to argue (apart from the Judge )?
