PGA and European Tour roundup Empty PGA and European Tour roundup

With the fall series in USA and the European Tour going down under - for what is frankly a few end of season events that don't warrant their own threads - maybe a thread to collect all the smaller stories might work

There is of course a WGC event next week which might generate some talk, but in the meantime we have the Euro tour going to Perth and The McGladrey Classic in GA

Tommy Gainey has come in with a 60 today (just missing the fabled 59) - but is a 59 on a par 70 course the same as on a par 72? Sometimes it may be with courses being tricked up to be par 70 for the pros when it is normally a par 72 (500 yard par4s etc) - but 60 on that course looks the real deal to me - especially on a Sunday!

Who says Americans don't play the European Tour? Bo Van Pelt and Jason Dufner both travelled to Australia to play on the ET. Both had great tournaments finishing 1st and 2nd respectively. Maybe Bo can tell Jeff Fatty Overton how easy it is to win a European Tour event.
