European Tour: The French Open
Starting this morning and Lee is already +4 after 6 -- whilst the leader is Gary Boyd (-5 after 10)
Only Jamie Elson is doing worse out on the course at the moment (+5) - what's wrong with Lee!! That could mess up most of the fantasy predictions this week...

Looks like Lee's card has been corrected - he is only +4. Has now birdied the next hole - the fightback begins!

Re: European Tour: The French Open
Think the scorecard was correct Mary - two bogeys and a double in his first 6 holes - now the birdie on 16 (his 7th) gets him back to +3
Re: European Tour: The French Open
Oops - I thought he was showing +5 at one point. Think I am hallucinating due to the burden of bestowing "the curse"
My other picks are all afternoon tee times, so fingers crossed that the lie in this morning will have benefited them.

Bizarre leaderboard at the moment with the likes of MAJ, Quiros, Kaymer, Westwood, Donaldson and Goose propping up the leaderboard on +3 and +4 and only really Matteo and Coetzee of the OGWR top 100 challenging for the top!

Re: European Tour: The French Open
I see Lee has now got it back to +1 after 14, which is a big improvement and not out of it by any means. The leaders are still at -5 but of the morning starters, anything around level par looks like it won't be too bad
Re: European Tour: The French Open
Not entirely trusting the leaderboard as it seems a little confused but at the moment it's suggesting matteo has eagled the 9th (his 18th) for a -7 total .. as I write this it's gone back to -5 but still no score recorded for the 9th .. maybe they were just a little premature?
EDIT: yes they've corrected it back to -5 for Matteo - just a little eager on their part I think

Re: European Tour: The French Open
Aah - maybe I did not imagine that Lee was showing as +5 for a short time? (Grasping at straws to cover for my ageing brain cells!)
Nice back 9 for Lee so far.

No need for any banging of the head yet LP...Havret shot 70, Hebert 78 and I can't even spot Laird on the leaderboard!

Paul Casey 3rd from last and in 154th place after a 9 over 80. Career going downhill faster than an out of control snowboard

Ouch - that's a curel analogy BC!
Looks like Lee was the best of a bad bunch for me - had to scroll a long way down to find some of my picks.

Early morning insomnia.
I think it's because I'm wracked with guilt for jinxing Lee with my pick!

Sad to see Paul Casey finish on +18 for the two rounds. He certainly has a hell of lot of work to do to turn his game around.

Westwood is currently +7 for 8 holes. I think I'll hold off on that wager for The Open!

Eeek - David Howell currently 7th! I know that I'm talking to myself on here - but I'm so excited I had to talk to somebody!

Re: European Tour: The French Open
'Tis quiet on here today Mary - I've just got back from the club after Captain's day and off out again later but I'm just catching up on scores now!

Note to self: Never again pick a player in the Fantasy League who has already been chosen (and therefore cursed) by Mary!

Tied 1st if you don't mind!
It's a shame that Anders Hansen's regular caddie is injured, as he is one of Howeller's best mates from the Wiltshire County days. Would have been a good reunion.
I see that Westwood was actually injured, so that explains that awful front 9. Tripped on his way to the first hole and strained his groin!

I suspect that Casey will be suffering with a similar injury now that he has got a free weekend!

Hmmm - seems like there might be an opening for a "groin specialist" on the Tour!
