European Tour - Irish Open
It's been a few weeks since we've had a tournament on either side of the pond that seemed to spark any real attention but as we now build up to the Open in a few weeks time, this week the Irish Open is at last drawing a bit of attention so just in case anyone feels like discussing it, here we go...
Could be interesting to see how Keegan Bradley fares as one of the first Americans to come over and start their preparation for The Open - well done to him for even entering
Colsaerts, Foster and Jaidee amongst the early leaders

Foster on a birdie fest at the moment. One of my picks, Harrington is tucked in at 4 under, hope he can keep it going.
Boxall thinks that Port Rush is playing easy at the moment.

Does that mean he's likely to miss out on worse round bonus points?

Damn, didn't realize I also chose Wood. Going to have to pay closer attention to Typhoid Mary's picks.

Typhoid Mary! Please note that I spared Mr Howell from the curse.
Talking of Divine David - can't get used to seeing him in a Taylormade cap, not sure about the facial hair either!

So is it a Rickeee style caterpillar or more of a Lucas Glover caveman look?

I'd say it was more of a Robert Rock look.
Paul Lawrie going well at the moment - 4 under through 9.

Agree about Keegan Bradley, nice to see him coming over especially with a big tourney going on in the states but it looks as if he will not be around for the weekend..
Padraig continues to play well he could certainly do with a win here to help his Ryder Cup hopes... -9 with 5 to play... Come on Padraig

Damn Pads. Had him as my reserve. Just couldn't pull the trigger with him.
Are the Irish playing their Open in a different country and are they considered foreigners in N.I.?

You're absolutely correct. I apologize, Mary. I meant to say Miss Typhoid Mary.

It's Donaldon's sails to wind now. No tacking necessary.
