Kicked off this morning and first news is a bad start for Manassero - currently +2 after 7

Early leaders Kjeldson and Lowry on -3 and Joakim Lagergren(?) has just gone to -4 after 5!

Good effort by Manassero to get back to level by the end of his round after what must've been a bit of a horror start. Kjledson current leader on -7 as the first wave of starters are coming to an end and the afternoon starters about to go out

Does anyone (apart from davie ) have any interest in this event?

Seems like a bit of a dud to me, everyone's focus is elsewhere. Even the ET website hasn't bothered with the full in depth tournament profile that other events get. The course looks a bit bland, although by the looks of the score card it is a real monster, the shortest par 4 measures 403 yards and the whole track is almost 7400 yards.

Can't say even I've got a lot of interest in it ray - apart from following my fantasy picks and seeing if Manassero could've squeezed into the OGWR top 50 (looks less likely now)

Is this the tightest leaderboard ever? 65 players separated by 5 shots. No one is out of this. Except Venice
