8 game ban for Suarez?

Totally neutral in this in terms of liking ManU or Liverpool (I dislike them both equally) but it seems to me that an 8 match ban on the basis of the evidence I've heard seems totally out of order

No place in football (or anywhere else for that matter) but 8 matches seems to me to be totally disproportianate. 2 matches perhaps I could agree with though on the evidence presented even that seems harsh

If what I've heard is true, John Terry could be looking at 12 months on the sidelines based on this precendent

The money just goes into the FA coffers and helps pay for the white elephant called Wembley. The whole things a joke, as usual the fools who run our game continue to alienate themselves from world football, and doing this have yet another pop at Blatter. If the Blatter clanger hadn't have happened, this would have been a slap on the wrist, because afterall it was one players word against another, and a complete lack of evidence. The Terry situation has gone on far too long, but is being handled by police and CPS, so god knows what will come out of that, but for me if Terry is charged and found guilty, then as England and Chelsea captain, needs stripping of his armbands and never picked agin for his country, as well as a massive football ban. Although I still don't get it, as Terry's team is mainly Africans and theres never been a hint of racism, and almost every club now has a big mix of nationalities.

Liverpool are angry and I don't blame them, after all Suarez's father is black so why would he make racist remarks to the frog (oops)

Does seem to be a bit excessive really. Unfortunately for Suarez he has said the wrong thing at the wrong time and has become something of a scapegoat as a reult. Such is life, I cant say I feel particularly sorry for him. The guy has played European football for four years and should know by now what is and isnt acceptable to say to other players.

Does seem a bit harsh to be 8 matches when diving and blatant cheating goes unpunished.

I don't think Suarez is a racist, he just got annoyed in the heat of the moment. Same goes for Terry. Quite happy to see the pair of the banned though, as I despise the pair of them.
