Totally daft innit? As they said on the video clip I thought the rules had been relaxed a little but it seems not

I *am* a big believer in removing grey areas from rulings and who knows if he caused it to move or not but that just seemed ridiculous

Full marks to Justin though for the way he handled it - he made his point in a very professional manner without losing his cool - it won't help him this time around but I hope the rule makers take notice

I didn't see that on the highlights but I did see Sergio chipping and it seemed to me that he was moving the ball as he addressed it. It rotated away from the hole as he pressed the club down, turning back the other way as he lifted again. On balance it was probably oscillating but it wasn't an insignificant thing, you could quite clearly see it even on 2x rewind.

Did Sergio get a penalty ?

I don't see any news that he did ?

No, and probably didn't merit one, but it surprised me how much movement he was evidently comfortable with.

Ridiculous ruling - but top marks to Justin for calling a penalty on himself.

What I'd like to know is, how can you replace the ball if it moves by just one dimple on a green (going by the state of them in Doha) that is covered in indentations and spike marks? I'd say it's impossible.
