GolfChatUK Fantasy League Table - Summer/Autumn Session Standings - 2012-2013

1. The League's season is divided into 3 sessions:

____ Winter/Spring Session - Winner: RedRage
____ Spring/Summer Session - Winner: Davie
____ Summer/Autumn Session - Winner: RedRage

2. All competitors will start with zero points (scratch) at the beginning of each session.

3. There will be a declared champion for each session which will be determined by the highest point total. In the event of a tie the number of event wins each player has accumulated during the session will be used to determine the winner. If there is still a tie, individual event finishes will be used.

4. The player with the highest total accumulative score for the 3 sessions will be declared Fantasy Player of the Year. (aka GCUK Order of Merit)

x6 = Total number of times all six picks make cut
Cut% = Percentage of cuts made
Low = Total number of picks with lowest score per round

Last = Total number of picks with last place tournament finishes
R1T5 = Total number of picks with Top 5 finish in Round 1
R3T10 = Total number of picks with Top 10 finish in Round 3
Fin = Total number of points for tournament position finishes

RedRage's USPGA Championship win sees him take the lead from 1GrumpyGolfer. Davie seems to be lulling us into a false sense of security in his quest for the career grand slam.

At least I did SLIGHTLY better this week!

Davie gets his first win; could he be making his move on the lead placings?

Probably not but I'll take the win anyway  

LP's first win takes her above Setup into fourth. Another good performance by RedRage sees him open up a lead at the top of the leaderboard and Davie's charge continues...

As you were after a low scoring affair in Wales but Mary's win leaves Setup as the only one yet to register a win in this session.

RedRage's second win extends his lead at the top of the table. It's bunching up a bit in places too as we're halfway through the final session.

Grumps' 3rd win puts him back ahead of RedRage as Setup is still looking for a first win.

Back to back wins strengthen Grumps' lead. Setup has 7 events to pick up his first win of his session.

7 events left to decide the GCUK Order of Merit; is it too early for Fantasy Player of the Year standings to be posted?

RedRage's third win closes the gap at the top, mid table is getting close, and Davie's career grand slam is hitting the buffers.

Another win for RedRage sees him take over at the top. Davie is closing on a midtable spot and Setup has 4 events left in which to register his first win.

Midtable would be a good result at this point! No career grand slam for me this year

Davie's second win heats up the mid table battle as 30 points separate three places. RedRage extends his lead at the top and, SetupDetermines is reduced to picking by numbers for the next couple of events in a bid to record his first win.

RedRage's 5th win has given him a nice cushion at the top of the table. Some chopping and changing towards the bottom end. SetupDetermines has just two events to find that elusive win in this session.

The final opportunity for SetupDetermines to avoid a duck and it's pretty much all over bar the shouting.
