A Game Of 2 Halves
Since coming back from my health scare, it seems that my game has improved quite a lot. One theory is that I don't put the same pressure on myself, and even play with a happy go lucky smile on my face now. Another theory is the medication to keep my blood pressure down. Maybe the game just isnt as important as I imagined when compared to life?
So Saturday I managed to nip out and just play 9-holes. I hit the first 5 greens in regulation and missed birdie by a whisker but nice tap in pars. It was nice and sunny and very sweaty and I was loving it, and then over the next 4 holes I managed to lose 6-balls, hit 2 shanks and even pulled a few, it turned into a car crash and for the life of me I have no idea how it happened. One minute I'm a cat1 player and then I'm a hacker ....

BC maybe we should change the rules a bit. Hit a bad one and say to hell with it I'm playing another. No penalty and some great scores for all and maybe the winner should be decided on the fastest round simply because they obviously didn't play too many balls.

Move to the US. That's how they play the game.

Oi! I do play by the rules, I'm one of about 5-6 that does in our club. I refuse to play with certain groups because they never lose balls, or have a bad lie, or miss three footers and shorter.
