Unwanted Equipment
Have any of you encountered any charities that take unwanted golf clubs, shoes, bags etc? I have some old stuff that isn't the best of gear or pretty well used that I want shot of. I like the idea of some kind of widening participation project getting the use of them rather than them getting taken to the tip. Any suggestions? I had a quick search online and didn't find much.

Why don't you contact your county union or the English golf union and see what they suggest.

Sorry Red, didn't mean to get your location wrong; I always thought you were down south as a London Wasps fan.

No offence taken at all, Grumps. The honey bee in my avatar might not be quite as forgiving as me though!

SGU got in touch. It turns out the R&A have an initiative where they use unwanted equipment and distribute it to developing countries in order to widen participation. Result.
