If Jordan is so desperate to get him back, why doesn't it just hold the trial in a neutral country which would still have its own legal structure to oversee the trial itself but with neutral furriners guarding Qatada's safety away from the courtroom?

America have international jurisdiction. And they have a holding cell for him whilst awaiting his impartial tribunal. At least I think that's what gitmo is doing these days.
