Annoying things in life.......
.....following on from LJ's saying he despised cyclists thought Id start a thread on small things that annoy you in life.
For me, its people walking around tube stations and really busy streets pulling small suitcases behind them. Everyone who does this seems to either completely forget or just not care that when they are pulling something around they should be thinking about who they are dragging it in front of or across. You need to be Colin Jackson at rush hour at Victoria to get across the councourse avoiding thse things. Drives me just ever so slightly bonkers.

Telephone call centres. Having to listen and plough through about 10 different options only to then be told "We are extremely busy all of our advisers are dealing with other customers" or "your custom is important to us, please call back later" drives me more than slightly bonkers. And don't even get me started when they are in India...

Re: Annoying things in life.......
Constantly getting telephone calls at home from telesales companies. Does my head in and I'm forever telling them to fook off.
Customer service departments of large well known operations. Being scared of Mrs Doc I organised flowers, card and expensive champagne through Interflora. The stuff arrived ok and put a smile on her face, but the champagne which was charged at £45 Laurent Perrier NV Brut, turned out to be some cheap plonk worth about £10. I got on-line and kicked off and recieved a very prompt reply informing me my complaint would be dealt with shortly. 2 days later heard nothing so kicked off again and an hour ago I got an email thanking me and apologising and told me they would refund the £45. fast enough to take your cash, but wonder how many others wer stung like this and didn't kick off.
Sponsor me on-line emails. Mates who fancy doing a bit of extreme stuff always think about getting sponsorship, and asking people to go to a web page for gift aid or whatever. So you go on and sponsor them and think; hang on he's not doing it for months yet and they've taken the cash. Whos to say hes even going to do it ...... Sponsorship used to be about giving after the event not a year in advance. Yes I know its for good causes but sick of being taken.

Diggers, on a similar not the lack of spatial awareness of people in Supermarkets really grinds my gears.

Re: Annoying things in life.......
People who stand around chatting in supermarkets, totally oblivious of everybody else, with their trollies blocking the aisles while they have a good old chinwag.
I think that supermarkets should have times set aside for "experienced shoppers only" so that those of us who like to do a quick in/out session could do so in peace.

Re: Annoying things in life.......
For me, it's people with no tube ettiquette:
- Standing on the left on escalators.
- Getting to the top / bottom of an escalator and stopping.
- People who rush to board a train without waiting for others to get off.
- People who stand by the doors on trains and don't move down the aisle.
- Loud tinny music from earphones, these people must be deaf. Even worse is people who listen to their music on loud speakers.

Re: Annoying things in life.......
Ray, the 14 majors are irrelevant.
Agree witht the escalators, although why does anyone ever find the need to stand at all on them, left or right. Just move.

People standing on escalators isn't half as bad as people standing on moving walkways like you get at airports.

Re: Annoying things in life.......
Parents who smoke in cars with children on board, especially the ones who talk on thier mobiles and don't strap thier children in seat belts when driving.
And extra specially annoying drive a Chelski Tractor on the school run.
When I am in power I shall confiscate thier cars and give thier children to Mad Donna.

Nothing more annoying than people who find innuendo in the most innocent remarks!

Re: Annoying things in life.......
-Parents that smoke around children
-Strangers that attempt to smoke around my children (has led to many confrontations)
-Bible Thumpers preaching in high streets
-50mph drivers in the outside lane
-Obese Children (clearly the parents fault for making them fat and usually obnoxious)
-Fat people that eat a MacDonalds then order a diet coke 'cos that help cut calories fatty!
-Parents that smoke then complain to be skint all the time because of their kids, try saving the £7.50 a day you spend on fags and hey presto you have money!
-Gym bunnies simply cannot stand anyone who thinks they are something special especially the steroid plebs giving it all that in mirrors to impress a woman. Nothing greater than going and benching more than them and leaving them wondering 'how did that guy do that without shooting up some penis shrinking anabolic'
Oh and........

The oven timer beeps 25 minutes after turning the oven on and when you go back into the kitchen to serve up your beef burritos you notice that they are still on the side.
