Must admit Im not liking MON's moves so far. Wayne Bridge, last seen playing poorly when on load at the Hammers last year. And mentions of Kevin Davies who is the sort of player I cant stand, a non goal scoring centre forward.
Still keep the faith and all that, certainly cant fault his results thus far though we were a bit lucky against the Smoggies on Sunday.

Martin has a good record of buying, although sometimes he appears to make strange purchaces.
Is John Robertson with him again, I think he is the guy who seperates the wheat from the chaff.

Best January Transfer...
As Mav is going to California and it's a one out - one in basis... They get a bloke with a nurse fetish and I have arranged for Megan Fox to come here in his place.

Always likes to have a good mix of kids and experienced players. He always had a player like Lennon or izzet in his sides, and when he went to Villa started bringing on the kids as well as buying young talent like Fabian Delph, but also had Petrov down from Celtic to be the old head. His formula works and he chases young UK born players instead of going abroad. Should be the England manager, but the FA don't like proper managers

Re: Best January Transfer Deal
Maybe at long last football is seeing the light, and finally stopping the crazy transfer prices and wages. This time last year there were deals done costing over £220m, but so far deals have only cost in the region of £24m. A few hours to go but can't see any more £30m+ transfers happening.
My poor club have sold their captain and brought in 2 loans ffs

Nedum Onouha
Taye Taiwo
Samba Diakite
Djibril Cisse
maybe Bobby Zamora too.
These are all big strong lads. Looks like Mark Hughes is going for the physical approach this season. It worked for Wenger approx 10 years ago. The invincibles team were all huge, but is pace and power enough to succeed in the Premier league?

A very promising youngster from Borusia Dortmund very much in the Xavi type mould, in NFL terms a quarter back if you like, still will be a year or so till he's ready to run the midfield.

She is purely a loan deal LJ she's aware that come move time roughly July she'll be needed back where she belongs locked in my spare room purely for me to abuse

Cisse has been a flop since the 2 broken legs at Liverpool. I think Hughes is using the blueprint he had at blackburn, strong powerful players that can mix it up and do some damage on the counter, don't be surprised if he plays a 5-3-2 formation.
The pointless transfer of the Window................................Louis Saha. Nice one 'Arry signing a sicknote striker way to solidify your position as title wannabes oh and taking Ryan Nelson from B'Burn who has had a less than stellar year.......
As for Arsene.... The mans a penis of french proportions our only proming winger (Oxlade excepted) goes on loan to Bolton..... Should have sent Walcott to coventry (literally) i'd have driven him there and paid for his accomodation to not return overrated pile of shyte

Not sure Id call Cisse a flop since Liverpool. His goals per game record at Marseille and Panathinaikos is superb and he was a pretty big hit at Sunderland as well. But not been so great at Lazio so maybe he is just heading past his sell by date.
If he does have anything left in the tank him and Zamora could be a real handful, bit suprised nobody else went in for Zamora to be honest, Id have had him at the SOL for 4 million.

I think £4m for Cisse and £4m for Zamora is good business. Paying any more would be risky given their age.... the kind of thing you would expect from Leeds a few years ago.
Not sure about Spurs signings, can't see either Saha or Nelson playing much.
For me, the signing of the window is Nedum Onouha. Strong, fast, young, seems to be a composed player and has a bit of skill. Also he seems to be able to string a sentence together without saying er you know 5 or 6 times and hiding behind a baseball cap and massive headphones.

Huddersfield have done well to snatch Kallum Higginbottom from Falkirk.
He must have slipped through the England nets as he seems too good a player by half for the Scottish 1st division.
