The LadyPutt show rolled on as she steamrollered the field in the WGC - HSBC Champions in Shanghai. She may only have had one pick score finish points but Rickie Fowler also finished as the best placed pick in the tournament. RedRage was the closest challenger but he could only keep pace with his three scoring picks. SetupDetermines also had three picks score points but his were of good quality and he leapfrogged into third place. BlueCoverman had three picks score points while Davie and Mary_S had just one pick score picks. Davie's points were bolstered by Henrik Stenson's fine bounce back round of 65.

Lots of points were scored in round three. Everyone had one of their picks shoot 69 or lower so everyone is off of the mark. RedRage's one scoring pick was Martin Kaymer who shot 66 for the low round of the day. LadyPutt has gone big with three picks scoring points and extends her lead at the top of the leaderboard.

Graeme McDowell started the WGC - HSBC Champions tournament really well; his round of 67 was the best of the day by two shots. Rounds of 69 earned you Top 5 Low Round bonus points and the ladies started really well. LadyPutt had two of the three picks that shot 69. Mary_S had one of three and that man, RedRage, got off to a good start again by also having one of the three. Everyone is yet to get off the mark.

A field of 80 players will take part in the final WGC event of 2014. The field is headlined by Adam Scott along with five other players from the top 10 in the OWGR. Only two of the five previous winners are in attendance; Martin Kaymer (2011) and Ian Poulter (2012). Dustin Johnson would have been the defending champion, Francesco Molinari didn't qualify, and Phil Mickelson didn't travel.
Due to the limited field event we are back to two picks from each category plus reserve. This is also a no cut event so the usual cut bonuses are not in effect and there are no points for bad play.

Everyone please notify others of changes in field before tournament starts and invalid or incomplete picks from participants.

RULES
Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 6 players as follows:
Pick 2 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.
Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).
If there is a tie after all 6 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.
Order of Merit: The person with the most total points at the completion of the season will be declared the GolfChatUK Fantasy League Champion. If there is a tie for total points at the completion of the season, those involved will be declared Co-Champions.
Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be treated as nil scoring. If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.
Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply. Example: Pick 2 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4 and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1 and 7, reserve 3 from Category B, players 1 and 2, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.
Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.
Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament. However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.
All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

Just picked up from the other place that DeLaet may be a doubt. He's still on the entry list at the moment though

After the high scoring of last week, we are stuck again to only 2 picks.
How is LP going to win, if there is only miserly points available ?

It's a forum glitch, Mary - after the clocks change everyone's timezone got changed to Papua New Guinea or some such!
Go to profile > preferences and set your timezone to UK and it will all be fine

Nope, I good. Bit of Roy Orbison: I drove all night, to get to you....
All 1,180 miles done in 22 hours. Arrived at 7:30 this morning and just had a cat nap before we face the day. We did drive through Augusta, Georgia but it was between 4 and 5am so didn't try to find it and take a picture.
If driving through Tennessee and Arkansas was like driving through West Bumfuckville. Driving through Georgia we must have passed through East Bumfuckville. Mrs Grumps and I swapped driving at some, why is this even an exit off the motorway, remote spot about 3:30am.

Are we going to allow Redrage his picks as previously advised? He said, on May 30th: "In future if I don't make any selections can my standing numbers be 2,8 and 11 from each category?"
I think we should allow him 2 and 8 and 11 as reserve:
Cat A: Garcia & Kaymer (res Walker)
Cat B: Mahan & Na (res Bjorn)
Cat C: Oosthuizen & Siem (res Coetzee)
Is everyone happy?
