New Years Resolutions

Post by BlueCoverman on Mon Dec 31, 2012 8:54 am

So what are our New Years Resolutions then? We already know that chunky Grumps is going on a diet and that LadyPutt is giving up alcohol in January to raise money for charity.

What about everybody else?

You cheeky fooker. Trouble is its true, Blue. Too much good English chocolate and entertaining this Christmas and no golf.

I've got three months to get some of it off before golf season and then another couple before we head back to Blighty for a trip home.

In view of the lack of responses on this thread Grumps, I assume that everybody else treats their body as a temple!

All prize specimens Blue, including yourself by the sound of it. I won't be asked to appear in the GolfChat calendar anytime soon then.

If you can hear the sound of uncontrolled laughter Grumps its just the Mrs when I told her I had been described as a prize specimen...

Looks like you and me fighting for the job of GolfChat calendar photographer then!

If you don't get to take the pictures, maybe you could operate the fan?

I'm hoping to drop a few lbs too.

Hopefully this year certain things will improve, and I can get back to being "me" again.

A few shots of my handicap would not go amiss either! Innocent

I feel that I am far too understanding and caring. So my resolution is to be more blunt and to the point. And also to try to use sarcasm more often as I feel that I accept things far too easily.

I can't see you being able to achieve any of that LJ. Good luck anyway

Happy New Year LJ to you and yours from me and mine. Contrary to BCM's very pessimistic view on your chances of success, I feel you have half a chance of acheiving your admittedly very lofty aims!
