Cabinet Reshuffle

Post by Doc on Wed Sep 05, 2012 12:16 am

Just going to have a small rant about todays reshuffle as i'm pissed off. I work in the retail/transport sector and it seems like we have never had a transport minister who's any good, even though the UK economy depends on a good infrastructure. This department is seen as a political football so nobody of any note gets the job, and whoever gets it seems to be gone within months. The best we had for almost 20-years was Philip Hammond when the tories were elected. Switched on guy and knew his stuff, and worked closely with us, until he was moved to defence, where he sorted that department out with some gusto. To replace him we got the 'airhead bird' (Justine Greening)who's constituency was part of the Heathrow airspace, so she apposed anything to do with a new runway. She's useless anyway, as can be witnessed by the recent rail franchise fiasco, where her departments ruling is now being tested in court. She was thankfully sacked today however and we now have yet another body presiding over transport. Remember the cock responsible for sorting out the BSKYB stuff, who allowed his junior to fall on his sword, instead of resigning himself - yes one Jeremy Hunt (Or soundslike) well he's been promoted.
